The objective of the activity has been to publicize some of the inventions and important figures of the 19th and 20th centuries, who contributed to advances in the world of science and technology. I wanted to place special emphasis on national protagonists to spread their knowledge and make the students see that there were also renowned scientists in our country, although they did not always have the help of the different governments. In addition, when they are appointed, they tend to tiptoe in books and educational centers and our students do not usually know their achievements. That is why Mariano Díaz Tovar, Isaac Peral, Juan de la Cierva or Fidel Pagés deserve a place among the Turings, Flemings or Curies.
